# Josiah

Josiah was born into a world that refused to let the past die. The chains may have changed, but slavery still thrived in the shadows, hidden, disguised, yet just as cruel. He spent his childhood in the cotton fields, his hands raw from endless labor, his spirit crushed under the weight of oppression. Every night, he dreamed of freedom. Every day, he woke up to the same nightmare.

One night, the plantation burned. Josiah doesn’t remember how, only the feeling of rage, the blinding light, and the chains around his wrists shattering like glass. When the smoke cleared, he was no longer the same. His body pulsed with energy, his strength beyond any man. He didn’t question it. He only knew one thing: he would never be a slave again.

Now, Josiah hunts those who still hold the whip. He moves in the shadows, freeing the helpless, striking fear into those who profit from suffering. But the past still lingers. The feeling of cotton against his skin makes his hands shake. The sound of cracking whips echoes in his mind. Yet, he presses on.

Because as long as there are chains, Josiah will be there to break them.
